Mike Augustine graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001 with a B.S. in Economics and was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy. Mike spent the next 20 years working around the globe in the EMEA, APAC, and across the U.S.

After retiring from Active Duty in 2021, Mike joined the A.R. Savage & Son team as the Chief of Staff for A.R. Savage Company and its holdings; he was quickly promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In his role, he is responsible for the daily operations as well as strategic growth of an operation providing logistics support for over a thousand ships annually across multiple U.S. and international ports. Mike sits on the Board of Directors for the Port Tampa Propeller Club, a maritime advocacy group of over 600 members. He is an alumnus of Leadership Tampa, of the Tampa Bay Chamber.

Mike and his wife, Cicely, reside in the Tampa Bay area and are the parents of two daughters, Virginia Grace (15) and Elizabeth Claire (12). They are practicing members of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from the College of William and Mary. In his spare time, Mike enjoys shooting sports, scale ship model building, and traveling with his family.
